Plain-language summary
By using SWATGenX you agree to these Terms. Outputs are analytical estimates—not emergency alerts, regulatory determinations, or professional advice. You validate fitness for your use case, respect third-party data and software licenses, and accept limitation of liability as stated below.
Operator: SWATGenX is operated by the team responsible for this website and platform, reachable at the contact above (“we,” “us,” “SWATGenX”). When we name a formal legal entity for the Service (for example in writing or in connection with a paid or metered offering), that entity is the contracting operator unless we say otherwise in writing.
The platform is under active development and is offered for research, demonstration, technical evaluation, and related analytical work. You may also apply it to planning, professional, or organizational workflows where permitted by law and by the terms of any underlying data or software you rely on. Access may be differentiated by tier or invitation (feature gates and usage quotas are common during development). We may add, change, or retire capabilities over time—including, in the future, paid tiers, metering, or premium exports—according to separate terms disclosed when applicable.
You are solely responsible for validating Outputs and determining fitness for your intended use.
We may introduce or change paid features, metered compute, API access, or premium exports in the future. Where separate purchase, subscription, or metering terms apply to a specific offering, those terms will govern that relationship and may supplement or override portions of these Terms for that offering. Until such terms are published for a given product, you should not assume that all features are sold through a complete public checkout on this website. When we enable payment or metering for an offering, we will describe pricing, confirmation, and any refund or cancellation rules at that time.
Features, quotas, plan names, API or export availability, and other aspects of the Service may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued from time to time, including for maintenance, security, operational, or legal reasons, where permitted by applicable law and any separate agreement with you.
Third-Party Materials are governed by their respective licenses, terms of use, and attribution requirements. SWATGenX does not grant you any rights in Third-Party Materials beyond those that the relevant third-party licensors or data providers grant to you.
(a) appropriate interpretation and use of Outputs,
(b) verifying the suitability and quality of Outputs for your application, and
(c) compliance with the terms, conditions, and citation/attribution requirements of all Third-Party Materials used or incorporated into Outputs.
At minimum, you agree to include appropriate references to:
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, harvest, or create derivative works from SWATGenX IP except as expressly permitted in writing by SWATGenX.
11.2 Third-Party Materials. Third-Party Materials remain owned by their respective providers/licensors and are subject to their respective terms.
11.3 Outputs. As between you and SWATGenX, you own your Outputs and any original work you contribute (including configurations and parameterizations you provide), to the extent such rights exist under applicable law. However:
(a) Outputs may include or be derived from Third-Party Materials, and such Third-Party Materials remain subject to their licenses/terms;
(b) SWATGenX does not transfer ownership of SWATGenX IP to you; and
(c) no rights granted to you are intended to limit the rights of Third-Party Materials providers under their applicable terms.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, for conduct we reasonably believe violates these Terms, threatens security or integrity, involves abuse of quotas or automation, unauthorized scraping or bulk extraction beyond permitted interfaces, or for other operational or legal reasons. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the “Last Updated” date; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.

1) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SWATGenX website and services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.2) Description of the Service
SWATGenX is a web-based hydrologic, watershed, and screening analytics platform—an analytical platform for screening, visualization, and workflow automation. The Service may include tools for model-generation workflows, reports, maps, workspace features, administrative tooling for authorized operators, and analytical hydrologic content (including summaries or brief-style outputs when offered).
3) Analytical-only hydrologic and screening content
Screening maps, classifications, exposure estimates, analytical briefs, economic proxies, and similar outputs from the Service are informational screening and analytical tools only. They are not a warning, watch, advisory, emergency notification, official hazard communication, or substitute for real-time alerts from NOAA, USGS, FEMA, emergency management agencies, or local authorities. They are not a regulatory flood determination, insurance underwriting determination, or engineering sign-off.4) No professional advice
Nothing on or from the Service is legal, engineering, insurance, emergency-management, or regulatory advice. You are responsible for obtaining qualified professionals and official sources appropriate to your decisions.5) Outputs are estimates; your validation required
All reports, exposure estimates, economic proxies, maps, model input packages, and other materials generated or facilitated by the Service (“Outputs”) are estimates and simplifications that may be incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a given site or use case. The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are solely responsible for validating Outputs and determining fitness for your intended use.
6) Permitted use of Outputs; attribution
Subject to these Terms and to the rights of third-party data and software providers, you may use Outputs for purposes such as internal planning, research, client engagements, and professional work products, provided you do not misrepresent Outputs as official government determinations or emergency communications. You remain responsible for compliance with citation and attribution requirements for Third-Party Materials (as defined below), including when Outputs are shared externally.7) Access levels, quotas, and paid offerings (when offered)
Access to the Service may be differentiated by tier or invitation (labels such as free, basic, or professional are examples only), with feature gates, usage quotas, export limits, or extended evaluation paths while the platform evolves. Extended access may be granted case by case during research and development rather than through a public retail checkout for every workflow.
