A flight over one of our SWAT+ models: Lookout Creek, Oregon
A 70-second flight over our SWAT+ model of Lookout Creek, the watershed above USGS gauge 14161500 near Blue River, Oregon, in the McKenzie River basin. The model covers 63.7 km², with 1,316 HRUs and 790 channels. It starts low over the creek near the model's outlet, follows the valley up to the headwaters, then rises into an orbit of the whole watershed. The streams are the model's own channels, drawn wider for larger streams, and the outline is the outer edge of the model's subbasins. The ground is shaped by the model's own 30 m elevation grid, with USGS 3DEP elevation around it, at true scale with no vertical exaggeration, under USDA NAIP aerial imagery flown in 2022. Rendered in our own 3D viewer.
