Build in pieces: cut a large basin into smaller models
Some basins are too large to build as one SWAT+ model here. This river network has over fifty thousand reaches, and one model holds up to thirty thousand. Build in pieces cuts it into four models, each its own build, along the lines between its smaller watersheds. Cuts prefer a stream gauge, and here each piece ends at one. One basin, several models, cut where the watersheds already divide.
