Run a model locally
Execute a downloaded SWAT+ package on your own machine.
A downloaded package is a self-contained SWAT+ project — you can run it with any SWAT+ executable, independent of SWATGenX.
- Unzip the package and open the SWAT+ project folder (the one containing the input files).
- Place a SWAT+ executable in that folder, or point your SWAT+ runner at it.
- Run the executable from that directory; outputs are written alongside the inputs.
- Open the output files (channel, HRU, or basin outputs) in your analysis tool of choice.
SWATGenX runs a large-model-capable build of the SWAT+ engine on its servers. The open, accelerated engine — up to ~7× faster with identical results at one thread — is available if you want the same performance locally.
