Order a coupled SWAT+MODFLOW-6 model
Add a two-way groundwater model to a watershed.
A coupled model links your SWAT+ surface-water model with a MODFLOW 6 groundwater model, exchanging water (and, in research settings, PFAS) both ways each day.
- In the explorer, select an eligible watershed and choose the coupled SWAT+MODFLOW-6 model type when ordering.
- The SWAT+ model builds first, then the MODFLOW 6 model is built and coupled automatically.
- Both appear on your dashboard; you receive coupled-model lifecycle emails as stages complete.
Coupled orders require extended access. Groundwater convergence depends on the basin — most converge, some need tuning. PFAS transport is offered through research collaborations, not self-service.
